Andrew graduated from the University of Missouri – Columbia with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. Andrew has also completed the necessary education to become a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA®). These designations exhibit Andrew’s dedication to continuing education and acting with a high standard of ethics for his clients.
Andrew started his career as an intern at Plaza Advisory Group and was hired full-time because of his knowledge, curiosity, work ethic, and passion for helping his clients. One of the most important lessons Andrew obtained from his internship was the importance to develop trust and transparency with each client. Andrew realizes how unique each client financial plan is. Despite having a deep knowledge in Portfolio Management, he understands that completing a holistic plan requires intertwining every aspect of a client’s goals. A common phrase you will often hear Andrew express to clients is, “Your benchmark is your Financial Plan and nothing else.” After thorough discussions involving all aspects of a client’s plan, Andrew works to develop a sound and risk-conscious portfolio that the clients are comfortable with. Continuing education is not only important to Andrew personally, but he believes in continually educating clients so that they are able to stick with their financial plan.
Andrew and his wife Kelly, a Nurse Practitioner, were both born and raised in St. Louis. Additionally, Andrew has been involved in numerous charitable committees and boards. He is currently serving on the Development Board for St. Louis Children’s Hospital. When not in the office, Andrew enjoys spending time with both family and friends. His hobbies include waterfowl hunting, golfing, squash, and fishing if he is fortunate enough to get to the ocean.
